Initiation into the Order of Knights is done by referral and written request. A individual seeking Knighthood needs to contact an existing knight or by posting on the Knighthood Message Board (title the message "KnightHood Request") and express interest in the Order as well as reside in Adventure. A knight can then choose to squire the individual for 12 documented hours. During this time the squire must demonstrate knightly behavior (you need to act like one to become one). This is done by following the code (see The Code) and performing the duties (see Duties Of Knighthood) of a Knight. Once the documented 12 hours are completed the knight will then complete a Knighthood request form (see Initiation Request). Then a Royal Court date will be set for Knighting (see Knighting Ceremony). Shortly afterwards the squires name will be added to the Knights Roster (see Knights Roster).
